The Alocasia Wentii is a beautiful, green houseplant. This plant is native to Asia, where it still grows wild. It is best to place the Alocasia in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. The leaves of the Alocasia grow towards the sunlight. To prevent the plant from growing crooked, you can rotate it a quarter turn once a week. This plant is very sensitive to too much water. Give the Alocasia some water once a week in the summer. In winter there may be a little more time in between. You can also give the plant smaller amounts of water more often. Sometimes water drips from the tips of the leaves. The water that the plants absorb through the roots is evaporated through the leaves. This process takes place during the day and at night the Alocasia drips away the excess water through the leaves.
