The Phlebodium Aureum Blue Star is a blue/gray fern. This houseplant is also called blue fern or zinc fern. Originally it grows in jungles, in the tops of trees as an epiphyte. They attach themselves to trees with their roots and can absorb food. Just like in nature, the fern likes a bright spot, but avoid full sun. Too much direct sunlight will burn the leaves. Make sure that the potting soil always feels slightly moist. In spring and summer you water about twice a week. A little less in winter.
